Wacky Wednesday!

I am trying to keep things fun and interesting! So Wednesday's are Wacky Wednesday!

What does that mean?

Actually I am not sure. So, until I figure that out, I will tell you about my day. Read closely, some things may seem a little odd and not true, but I promise it is all true!

I woke up this morning with the fairies braiding my hair, AGAIN! My head is so sore in the mornings from them tugging and pulling to get the perfect braids. It took me an hour just to unbraid everything and the fairies were not happy about that. They used toothpicks to stab me in the hand. Not only was my head sore but my hands were sore too!

I finally got all the braids out and sent the fairies away (I threatened to send Edo, my cat, after them) I was able to get a shower. I didn't notice that a troll was sleeping in the drain. You probably didn't know that trolls come in different sizes, this was a shower troll. They are nasty little creatures. Once I shooed him out of the shower I had to clean up the slime he left behind. What a busy morning!

Luckily, after the troll I was able to get a shower, dry off and get dressed. I made it to the kitchen to get breakfast, Edo met me at my bedroom door and followed me into the kitchen, needless to say, the fairies stayed far away. The shower troll had parked himself on the kitchen sink to fuss at me for getting up late this morning. Evidently he had some stuff to do today too and slept to late. I had to explain that I did not get up early, I just had to deal with the fairies. He huffed and stomped his little feet as he skittered back into my room to yell at the fairies. Finally, silence!

I had a nice bowl of Apple and Cinnamon oatmeal. That brought in the gnome that lives in the back yard. He can smell the oatmeal a mile away! I had to make him a bowl too, he is small, just not as small as the troll but he sure can eat. He sat with me in the kitchen while I ate. He is nice company to have, most of the time. I complained to him about the fairies and how the shower troll was mad at me. He told me how the fairies bothered him when the sun was fully awake. I really need to talk to those fairies and set some ground rules if they plan to stick around.

I spent a lot of time getting ready this morning. The fairies wanted to braid my hair once I finished blow drying it, I told them I didn't have time, that caused a few to start crying. Let me tell you, you do not want to be around a bunch of crying fairies. I quickly put on my shoes, grabbed my phone, keys and purse and jetted out the door. I was hoping they didn't wake up anyone else in the house.

On the drive home I saw a forest troll peaking out from the woods, he waved. I should go visit him this weekend. His name is Dave, he is very sweet and always so lonely. I would have stopped this morning but I was in such a hurry, I was so late from fighting with the fairies.

Work was about the only normal thing that happened to me today! Except the talking mouse that was hiding in a corner. I told him how to get out of the store so he wouldn't get hurt. All those people, that tiny little mouse, he was bound to get killed. He was too scared to make it out on his own so I had to stick him in my work locker with a piece of cheese from my lunch. He kept quiet and was asleep when I got off work. He was so cute, I wanted to bring him home with me. I even asked him, but the first mention of fairies and he was running to the grass. Dang fairies.

I took my time going home. I didn't see Dave on the drive back home so I didn't stop to say hello. When I got home the fairies were fast asleep in my closet. All my clothes glittering with their fairy dust... That is when I started washing clothes. *sigh*

So, here I am. Dinner has been made and quietly eaten, the shower troll is tucked safely away in my tub drain, the gnome is resting in his usual spot and the fairies are quietly braiding my hair. They can't read, but they love to watch the words scroll across the screen as I type. They are so easily fascinated, I just wish I could keep them out of my hair while I am sleeping.

That is my day...some what. I am about to feed my vampire pig and put him up for the night and pull out a good book to read. There is no telling what I will encounter tomorrow morning, possibly sock gremlins. I just hope that the stupid little demons stay away tonight, they are afraid of me but they still try to scare me. It makes no sense.

Maybe next week I won't bore you with my daily, uneventful life and have something really wacky to share.

P.S. Got any ideas on fun things I can do with my blog? I am thinking Funky Photo Friday, Sappy Sunday, Makeup Monday...I am just missing a few days of the week!
