Wacky Wednesday: People Watching

I have been sitting at Panera bread for the past three hours. Yes, three hours. Why? One, because my brother is in class and I live to far away to go home just to turn around to come back and pick him up. Gas is not cheap my friends. Two, because they have internet and the atmosphere is a lot quieter than that at the school.

I have been working on my book, playing on facebook and hoping that they don’t kick me out for sitting in the store for too long. I cannot wait until the rain stops and the weather is warm so I can sit at their outside tables.

I will say, it is fun to sit in a restaurant and watch people. People watching is so much fun. I have seen some crazy things today too. The worst though, was the chick that came in with her boyfriend (or husband). This chick was crazy!

I will tell you, it has been raining a lot lately so the weather is not exactly nice. It’s cold and wet! This chick walks up into Panera with shorts and a t-shirt on. That isn’t the weird part though. The weird part, the crazy, insane part, is she was wearing this giant, thick coat that came to her knees. The jacket was longer than her shorts! Her legs looked cold too. They had that blotchy red look that your skin gets when it gets a little cold. Was it really so hard to put on a pair of pants?

That wasn’t the last of the weirdness either. After that I didn’t pay much attention until I caught a whiff. Yes, a very nasty smell invading my nose! I looked around trying to find out who forgot to take a bath and I spot him. A very strange looking guy sitting in front of me on his laptop. I figured if he stayed his distance I would have to smell him again. It would have been fine if he had stayed at his seat. He spent more time walking around then he did at his seat. Now, I am not the one to sit and judge someone, but this dude looked like he had not washed his hair in a month! Every time he walked by me I got to smell the killer fragrance that he seemed to have worked so hard to obtain. *gag* Then he left, frantically…

That was all aside from the normal stuff that I see every day. You know, the fairies and gnomes. I have noticed that places where people go in and out a lot there are way more door demons. They sit in the door ways waiting for just the right person to trip. They didn’t get anyone tonight, but I am guessing they were being nice because I was there. They didn’t know me, but they knew I could see them. That usually scares the door demons, until they get to know you, then they like to entertain.

I must retire now. My nose still burns from the foul smell of the human that refuses to wash. And my eyes burn from the fairies sprinkling dust in my eyes. They are trying to get me to change my contacts because it has been a month and they are only supposed to last two weeks. Dang fairies and their killer memories.

Farewell my friends. Tomorrow is a new day with new adventures. Maybe even more people watching.
